Multiple-vehicle accident injures seven people

A car accident involving multiple-vehicle in New Jersey resulted in injuries to seven people. In addition, a pole and a gas pump at a service station were also knocked down.

The accident occurred just before 11 a.m. According to the report, an Acura carrying five people was driving when the driver allegedly lost control. The car first hit a curb before hitting a utility pole. The impact caused the pole to fall. Then, the Acura entered a gas station where it struck a vehicle. That vehicle then hit a second vehicle that was in the process of filling up at a gas pump. Another gas pump was also struck, causing gasoline to spill all over the scene. The Acura eventually came to rest upside-down.

All five of the individuals who were in the Acura were taken to a nearby hospital. One of those individuals was found on the ground outside of the vehicle. One man and one woman from the other vehicles were also transported to nearby hospitals. No factors regarding the cause of the accident were reported as the investigation is still ongoing.

Due to the size and weight of most vehicles on the road, car accidents often result in serious injuries to those who are involved. For example, many may sustain broken bones, abrasions, head and neck injuries, spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries. In severe cases, car accidents may even result in paralysis, limb amputations and death. However, an experienced New Jersey attorney may be able to help their clients by determining the full effects of the accident and seeking compensation to help cover the costs that were caused by the incident. For example, this compensation may cover medical costs, lost wages and even damage to vehicles.
